Full-Charge Bookkeeper
Real Estate Investment & Property Management Firm Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage the financial operations of our growing real estate investment firm. You'll handle all day-to-day accounting operations while coordinating with our virtual team and external CPA firm.
Core Responsibilities
Daily Financial Operations
- Process and manage accounts payable and receivable
- Monitor and record rent payments outside of Epay
- Oversee outsourced bookkeeping firms bank reconciliations
- Coordinate with virtual assistants on administrative tasks
- Manage vendor payments and relationships
Monthly Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Generate property-level P&Ls
- Process owner distributions
- Create management reports
- Track capital expenses
Property Management
- Maintain accurate rent rolls
- Track security deposits
- Process utility payments
- Handle tenant ledger adjustments
- Coordinate with property managers
Partner & Investor Support
- Prepare partner distributions
- Generate ownership entity statements
- Maintain investor payment records
- Assist with investor reporting
Required Experience & Skills
- 3+ years full-charge bookkeeping experience
- Real estate or property management background
- Expert in QuickBooks
- Strong Excel skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Excellent communication skills
Technical Requirements
- QuickBooks (Desktop/Online)
- Microsoft Office Suite / Google Sheets
- Property Management Software experience (Appfolio)
- Banking platforms
Compensation
- Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 based on experience
