About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its mission of providing quality, culturally competent, and comprehensive community-based primary care. The ideal CEO will be a caring leader with a strong commitment to social justice, particularly in the context of health equity. Responsibilities for the CEO include overseeing the organization's day-to-day operations, expanding funding from public and private sources, and representing the company as a national spokesperson. The successful candidate will be expected to lead with a strategic vision, ensure the financial health of the organization, and promote a team-based, patient-centered approach to care. They should have a proven track record in managerial and strategic planning, leadership in a relevant field, and experience in fundraising and marketing. The CEO will also be responsible for strengthening the company's infrastructure, managing a diverse and multilingual team, and building strategic partnerships to enhance the delivery of services. The CEO of the company will be a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the power of community in advocating for essential medical services. They should be a strong, decisive leader, capable of building consensus and working collaboratively to maximize the contributions of staff and the Board. Personal characteristics for the role include being organized, strategic, financially aware, and politically astute. The CEO should be a catalyst for change, with the ability to anticipate and act on events to further the company's mission. Fluency in Spanish is a plus, and the candidate should be able to communicate effectively and represent the company to a broad public. The role demands a leader who is outraged by injustice and inequity in healthcare, and who can inspire and motivate others to ensure that all individuals, regardless of their background, have access to the highest quality care.
