Job Description
The key duties and responsibilities of a clinical manager include the following:
attending to the day-to-day management of an outpatient clinic, medical facility, or department
auditing clinical practices to ensure high-quality care
collaborating with clinical staff regarding the scheduling and staffing of specific clinics
creating and overseeing the budget and billing
hiring, onboarding, and evaluating staff members
organizing and delivering a Continuing Medical Education (CME) program for professional staff
ensuring staff comply with relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
investigating and resolving patient complaints involving clinical staff
developing and implementing strategies to improve patient care
communicating the clinical perspective to the broader management team
liaising with medical staff and reviewing treatment plans
