We are excited to announce that we are seeking a new team member to join our growing team! We are looking for a talented individual who will be responsible for generating detailed cost analyses and scope of work estimates. This role will utilize historical data, contractor quotes, and architectural plans to ensure accurate and comprehensive evaluations.
The ideal candidate will have extensive prior experience in commercial roofing, consulting, and cost estimating, general construction estimating experience a bonus! If you or someone you know fits this description, we would love to hear from you!
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating commercial roofing projects.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- Proficiency in using computers and relevant software.
- The ability to read blueprints and complete digital take-offs efficiently.
- Knowledge of multiple commercial roofing systems.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Analyzing project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work.
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Negotiating prices with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Collaborating with project management and roofing teams to ensure accurate estimates.
- Monitoring and controlling project costs throughout the roofing process.
- Building relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
- Reviewing and interpreting roofing contracts to ensure compliance.
- Approving invoices from vendors
