AM Technical Solutions is looking for experienced Semiconductor Analytical Test Technicians for our construction project in Chandler, AZ. We need individuals who can perform testing of industrial systems supporting liquids, gases, chemicals and solvents. Projects are Semiconductor Construction, BaseBuild, Tool Install, Demo. Technicians will use AMTS equipment to take sample of purity within the systems. Integrity is a must as safety is a priority and all test results must be accurate. This is not a lab position, this is a construction position within an industrial facility. This position requires past semiconductor industry experience, you must have a background in prior testing and be mechanically inclined.

Position Requirements

• Be mechanically inclined, able to work in high pressure situations effectively. On the job training will be provided.
• Work with Contractor supervision on functions and requirements for installations. Assist the customer in identifying and solving construction quality problems and perform all necessary tasks.
• Must be able to troubleshoot technical issue’s and quality contamination discrepancies and have the ability to plan, schedule, execute and report data in a professional manner.
• Able and willing to work in clean room environments.
• Understanding of process gas systems and hazards associated with working around chemicals, qualify gas systems for production use in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Complete systems as efficiently as possible without sacrificing quality of results.
• Filling out accurate testing reports for the customer, keep tools and equipment organized and neat.

 

Skills

• Proficiency in mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting mechanical issues.
• Able to communicate with other technicians and trades
• Organization is key to being effective.
• Ability to plan work ahead of time and prioritize.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Willingness to be in fab for a few hours at a time
• Able to work with group and be a productive part of a team

 

Minimum Requirements & Expectations

• High school degree or GED equivalent
• Mechanical Aptitude
