Vantage Point Behavioral Health Hospital is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Credentialist Specialist with experience in credentialing to join our team. Salary: $17 - 21 / hour Position Overview: The Credentialing Specialist - Credentialing will play a vital role in supporting our credentialing processes and ensuring that all employees meet the required qualifications and certifications. The Credentialing Specialist will provide administrative support to facility management to ensure efficient operation of the facility. Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures. Effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all duties are completed accurately, delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. Attend meetings and take accurate minutes. May responsible for accurate and timely physician credentialing. May direct and lead the work of others. May manage and coordinate administrative programs and office activities. Create spreadsheets, manage databases and prepare presentations, reports and documents as needed. Answer telephones and take messages or transfer calls. May cover the reception desk when required. Calendar management, schedule appointments, update calendars and arrange staff meetings OTHER FUNCTIONS: Perform other functions and tasks as assigned. Qualifications EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree preferred.
