Job Overview :
As a
Parts Manager , you will be responsible for running a profitable and efficient parts department. This includes managing inventory, staffing, pricing strategies, and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will be a driven and self-motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to providing excellent customer service. Teamwork, integrity, and a strong desire to succeed are key components of our company culture. Familiar with CDK Dealership software helpful.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the department's annual operating budget and ensure financial goals are met.
- Maintain a balanced inventory in line with manufacturer requirements and customer demand.
- Implement pricing strategies that ensure profitability while maintaining customer loyalty.
- Manage department staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer parts and warranty policies and procedures.
- Work closely with the service department and wholesale accounts to ensure proper inventory availability.
- Track and review sales, costs, and stock to meet monthly budget benchmarks.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve department efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Our Ideal Candidate :
- Experience : Minimum 3 years in automotive parts management (dealership experience preferred).
- Skills :
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong leadership ability with a focus on teamwork and customer service.
- Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Proficient in managing inventory and utilizing pricing strategies for maximum profit.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with team members, vendors, and manufacturers.
- Professional appearance and work ethic.
- Proven track record of achieving departmental goals and driving business success.
- Additional Qualities :
- Self-starter with a strong sense of motivation and initiative.
- Bilingual is a plus!
