Information Systems Security Engineer with Security Clearance Employer: OSAAVA Services Location: Florida Salary: Competitive Closing date: 8 May 2025 Categories: IT, Security Engineer, Permanent Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform system or network designs across multiple Cloud hosting environments, including those with different data protection/classification requirements. Support ATO accreditation by analyzing security scans, organizational policies, and performing continuous monitoring. Provide security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management. Recommend cybersecurity-enabled products to implement security measures ensuring confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation. Perform or review security assessments to identify vulnerabilities or non-compliances and recommend mitigations. Validate security requirements, establish security designs, and develop security architectures. Work with project teams on engineering and packaging releases for integration into the customer's production IT environment. Review, provide feedback, and help update/maintain SSP documentation. Support security authorization activities in compliance with Government standards and the RMF. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university; 2 additional years of experience may substitute for a degree. 2+ years of direct/related experience. Active/valid DoD 8570.01–M IAT–II certification. Experience with IA tools such as ACAS, HBSS, McAfee ePO, ENS, DLP. Experience with RMF, ICD 503, NIST SP800–53, DCID 6/3, or current authorization practices, especially within the DoD. Experience with AWS Government Cloud and AWS Service offerings. Experience with security efforts related to modern Windows, Linux, UNIX, Cisco, SQL, or Oracle databases, and virtualized systems. Excellent communication skills for interacting with co-workers, management, and customers, including delivering presentations. Clearance Requirements: Active Top–Secret Clearance. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI–eligible clearance. Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information. Willingness to submit to a polygraph. Physical Requirements: Remain stationary for 50% of the time. Occasionally move inside the office to access files and equipment. Operate a computer and office machinery.
