**Overview**
SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a natively fluent Iranian Persian Linguist who will support a social media program in Tampa, FL. The candidate will develop and maintain expertise with designated regional issues and will draw upon publicly available online information resources. They will read, analyze, and draft communications regarding regional and ideological discussions in specified foreign language media environments.
**Essential Job Duties**
+ Develops and maintains expertise with designated regional issues and draws upon publicly available online information resources.
+ Reads, analyzes, and drafts communications regarding regional and ideological discussions in specified foreign language media environments.
+ Examines current media statements or postings to support trend analysis and identifies key communicators.
+ Demonstrates reading and writing expertise in the assigned language and incorporates custom social media solutions to comprehend online environments and communicate trends effectively.
+ Supports operations planning.
+ Demonstrates knowledge of online social media and different technologies, and documents activities, notes, informative papers, or whitepapers written in English.
+ The ability to work nonstandard hours and in on-call status for periods of time will be required.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Active in scope TS/SCI Clearance.
+ Must be a native Farsi (Iranian Persian) speaker.
+ Bachelor's degree in a related business or technical discipline.
+ Requires 3+ years of related experience, including supervisory experience OR 9+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree OR Associate's degree plus 4 years' work experience may be substituted.
+ Possess Farsi language proficiency equivalent to ILR 3 in listening/speaking/reading.
+ Fluent in modern day Iranian Persian dialect and common slang.
+ Deep understanding and familiarity with Iranian popular culture and current societal and political events and issues.
+ Strong English written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ OSINT experience.
+ Military or Department of Defense experience.
**Work Environment**
+ Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
+ Must be comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment.
+ Some evening, weekend, or shift work will be required.
+ Some travel may be required.
+ Ability to work nonstandard hours and in on-call status for periods of time will be required.
