Job Overview:
The Machine Operator will perform a variety of machine operations, material handling, quality checks, and general maintenance for the company's snowplow and ice control product lines within the Profiling/Fabrication/Rotomold and Machine Shop departments. The operator will communicate with other departments daily and may periodically work overtime and/or alternate shifts to meet production demands. This role is essential in maintaining safety, quality, and delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee the operations of equipment and identify and correct problems as they occur.
Conduct test cycles and quality audits to maintain accuracy and quality.
Maintain safety, quality, and throughput as required.
Perform timely upkeep of equipment and programs.
Communicate daily with other departments/shifts.
Keep work area, tools, materials, and equipment clean and orderly.
Work in a safe manner and report unsafe conditions as necessary.
Periodically operate a powered industrial truck to assist in material handling.
Track use of consumables and record production data daily.
Execute other duties as assigned.
Operate equipment in assigned business unit, with progression to Operator II and III roles available.

Qualifications:
Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred but not required. 1-3 years of experience or training preferred.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and perform geometric, algebraic, and trigonometric calculations.
Blueprint Reading: Must be able to read and understand blueprints and specifications.
Technology/Equipment: Computer literacy required.
Licenses/Certificates: None required.
Physical and Mental Demands:
$16.50-$17.50
