You must be a strategic Business Development Manager that can pivot between C-Suite and Management with a proven success in the commercial construction sector. An industry leader with world-class business acumen, and a demonstrated track record of successfully developing and negotiating sizable national and regional contracts in the sector. It is an individual contributor role managing/supervising experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments. You will focus on policy and business plan implementation for short-term results (1 year or less). May set goals and objectives for team members to achieve operational results. Spend time targeting, developing, and maintaining favorable relationship with new and existing national accounts that are in alignment with personal and company goals and strategies. Assist in identifying market potential, establishing pricing and market strategies by market research or study. Identify and evaluate customer needs, develop customer relationships and implement sales strategies to progress customer relationships. Responsible for annual development of sales & marketing budget and plan in coordination with company budget and strategy. Design and implement marketing plan and sales programs, which focus on external as well as internal “awareness” of targeted sectors or national accounts, promote new markets and improve competitive position. Deliver base business opportunities to local business units. Mentor and/or coach local sales representatives in approach and technique as needed. We’re experts, which means you’ll have the following skills and experience: 7-10 years of direct business to business sales experience Advanced knowledge of the commercial construction industry Strong background in technologies like Zoom Info, Salesforce, and other intelligent sales platforms. Proven track record of attaining maximum sales results through successful interaction with established customers and new prospects. Passion for excellent customer service and a strive to exceed sales targets. Outstanding negotiating, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
