KBR is seeking a Master Resilience Trainer to help strengthen the physical and psychological health, resilience and performance of Soldiers, Unit Leaders, Families, and DA Civilians to excel in KBR’s Science and Space division. The purpose of our Master Resilience Trainer Support Program is to provide specialists focused on optimizing mental and physical health and to provide and sustain the effort of existing Army training and education programs across Army installations. The work provides support for the purpose of increasing the physical and psychological health, resilience, and performance of Soldiers, Families, and Department of the Army Civilians, Department of the Defense personnel, United States (US) Government Agencies, and Allied Forces (ROTC) Cadets, and Department of the Army Civilians. The Master Resilience Trainer will be responsible for instructing individuals in holistic approaches to strength and conditioning and resilience to ensure durability. They conduct training intake/registration, initial unit contact, observation, development of training plans, preparation and tailoring of course materials, facilitation of training events, grading student materials, and documenting grades. They assess training impact through surveys, provide after-action reviews and quarterly reports, maintain training records, observe and provide feedback to instructors, and complete initial instructor certifications. Instruction focuses on resilience and performance enhancement, leadership training, communication and counseling skills, critical thinking, and practical application of resilience training. Trainers work as part of a team to provide knowledge, skills, and abilities for successful training completion and offer tailored educational programs and workshops to help personnel in demanding environments achieve success in personal, professional, and family goals. Required education includes a Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Counseling Education, Coaching Education, or Kinesiology with emphasis in sport/performance psychology, teaching or coaching experience preferably with military/DOD personnel, knowledge of Army structure and policies, and certification as an Army Performance Expert. Preferred certifications include professional association memberships such as AASP, CMPC, or ABSP. The position is contingent upon vacancy at the location.
