Company:  Sports MedSpa is a physician-owned new med spa in San Diego offering a patient-centric athletic and aesthetic environment for those seeking healthy, active, and vibrant lifestyles.

Professional Objectives:   This is an AESTHETICAN ROLE. The Aesthetician role aims to deliver outstanding skincare services, excellent skin health knowledge, and various spa treatments to spa guests, emphasizing the utmost professionalism, personalized care, and exceptional hospitality. Aesthetician must be able to deliver the Sports MedSpa treatments according to protocols and rituals guaranteeing the guest the ultimate med spa/spa experience. Also, Aestheticians must portray a professional self-image, be a team leader as well as a team player, and perfect treatments/products with technical knowledge and skills. Invest in self-education to ensure growth.

Position Activities and Responsibilities:

· Ability to perform all facial treatments offered on the Sports MedSpa menu according to protocols and rituals

· Interacts cooperatively with other Sports MedSpa team members to provide a seamless guest experience

· Discovers the guests’ needs and makes appropriate treatment and home care recommendations

. Creates customized plans specifically for Guest's needs

· Presents a warm, gracious, and professional persona toward guests and co-workers

· Adheres to a high professional image standard such as dress, appearance, language, and lifestyle

· Practices the highest standard of sanitation, neatness, and visual presentation

· Actively builds repeat clientele

· Attends and participates in all general and team meetings

· Assists with laundry and medi spa/spa cleaning, even if an assistant is available

· Maintains treatment suite inventory and other organizational tasks, keep a detailed inventory list

· Attends all in-house training and commits to outside continuing education

· Attends monthly, weekly, and daily shift line-up meetings

· Open to coaching, roleplaying, and improvements to perfect skills

· Participates in all aspects of marketing/special events planning and execution

· When asked, evaluates potential new team members for various positions

· Assists new team members

· Completes daily checklist of cleaning obligations and abides by all county, state, and local laws and regulations regarding sanitation, cleanliness, and safety

· Adheres to work schedule and has good work ethics

· Is a team player and assists others whenever asked

. Be a leader, assist other team members when needed, and report to supervisor in a professional manner

· Maintains a positive and professional attitude at all times

· Sets and achieves goals and targets

Desired Qualifications:

· Valid California aesthetic license

· Minimum 2 years of Experience

· Highly desirable special skills in facial protocols and Body Treatment protocols

. Outstanding skin health knowledge

· Excellent knowledge of the wellness, spa, and fitness industry

· Guest service oriented with the ability to deliver the ultimate medi spa/spa experience

· Experienced with facials including the use of aesthetic equipment

· Ability to follow protocols and directions

· Drive for continuing education

· A professional
