Job Title: Park Attendant

Location: Coralville, IA 52241

Duties:

• Park Attendants shall staff a campground fee booth as scheduled, live-on-site in the campground, be available to assist visitors as needed when the fee booth is closed.
• collect camping and other approved fees, register campers, process camping reservations from walk-in customers balance funds and receipts, and be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Park Attendants shall operate a computer, monitor, printer, mouse, keyboard, credit card terminal, and registration software to operate the campground efficiently and effectively.
• Park Attendants shall assist the public by providing accurate information concerning the Corps of Engineers Recreation Use Fee Program and all other Project policies and programs as directed.
• All Attendants shall possess a valid driver’s license and be capable and physically able of performing all duties and fulfilling all requirements of this position.

Education & Qualifications:

• Candidates shall at all times promote a positive, professional image of themselves and the Corps of Engineers. At no time shall Candidates through their personal appearance, actions or demeanor discredit the Government.
• Candidate shall at all times cooperate with and maintain a courteous, polite and respectful manner with all members of the public, other candidates, volunteers and Government employees.
• Candidates shall not carry or possess firearms in their RV or anywhere on Government property.
• Candidate shall not be engaged in any commercial activities on Government property; nor be involved in other activities including childcare and outside employment that conflicts or interferes with the performance of this contract.
