Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our pool management team. This is a paid internship. This hands-on role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in the day-to-day operations of aquatic facilities, including staff supervision, facility maintenance, and customer service. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong communication skills and a desire to develop leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing pool operations, including water chemistry testing and facility maintenance.
• Support staff scheduling, training, and management efforts.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing patron inquiries and resolving issues.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and enforce pool rules.
• Participate in administrative tasks such as reporting, inventory monitoring, and event planning

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in or recent graduate of a program in Recreation, Hospitality, Management, or related field (preferred).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Interest in aquatic management, leadership, or customer service.
• Outgoing and energetic personality with proven written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a high motivation to learn
• An ability to prioritize work and complete tasks with quick turnaround times
• Be self-motivated and creative, plus the ability to work collaboratively with a team
• RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
• You must be 18 years old and enrolled in an internship.
• A working and reliable cell phone with a camera and photo receiving/sending capabilities
• Ability to follow GPS maps
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Available May-September, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
