\nWhat’s a typical day as a Purchasing Buyer? You’ll be:
\n- Reviewing stock materials in the warehouse for order placement and replacement, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager.
\n- Performing bi-annual inventory checks and verifying stock counts for work order changes.
\n- Utilizing the purchasing dashboard (MRP) for planning and placing purchase orders to vendors.
\n- Reviews with Engineering changes on part numbers, TCN, & ECN updates.
\n- Sets up credit account with new vendors.
\n- Places purchase orders from material pull tags, and assists the warehouse with coordination of maintenance, assists electrical & finishing departments in located specific material quickly.

\nThis job might be an outstanding fit if you:
\n- Have a high school diploma or GED, with 1-2 years of experience in purchasing and supply chain management.
\n- Possess excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications and inventory systems.
\n- Demonstrate strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to coordinate activities under varying conditions.
\n- Knowledge of algebra, geometry, & mathematical formulas
\n- Must have a valid driver's license & driving record satisfactory to our company insurance policy.
