Start Date: July 03, 2024 | End Date: November 01, 2024 County: Cumberland County Job Type: Parks & Recreation The Town of Sebago seeks a talented individual to oversee our Parks and Recreation Department. This is a full-time position at an annual salary of $52,500.00 with full benefits. Experience in coordinating various athletic programs and events as well as working with a recreation committee would be helpful. The Recreation Director is a department head position reporting directly to the Town Manager. The Director is responsible for designing, organizing, implementing, and supervising a wide variety of recreational and educational activities, special events, programs, and day-to-day operation of the Parks and Recreation Department. Work is performed during normal office hours and during evenings and weekends as required. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Recreation or Leisure Service Management or related field from an accredited college or university preferred. Five (5) years experience in parks and recreation management is desirable. Experience in budgeting and responsible supervisory positions would be a plus.
