Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000

Expected hours: 40 per week

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Assistant Property Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Property Manager in the efficient daily operations of a property, ensuring that it is well-maintained and that the needs of its tenants are met. Working collaboratively, they oversee the completion of administrative, financial, and maintenance tasks, striving for timely and professional execution.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the property manager in executing daily property operations.
  • Develop and apply outstanding sales skills to respond to inquiries, conduct engaging site tours, and effectively lease apartments to optimize occupancy
  • Prepare and accurately complete all lease and renewal paperwork in a timely manner. Effectively explain all lease documents to new and existing residents.
  • Update and maintain prospect, traffic, and leasing data, and assist with additional computer data entry as needed.
  • Address resident inquiries and promptly resolve any issues.
  • Collaborate with the site team to ensure that apartments are prepared for move-ins and maintained to high standards.
  • Uphold a consistently exceptional level of customer service to foster positive resident experiences.
  • Follow all Fair Housing laws and established policy and procedures in the qualification, screening, and acceptance of applicants for residency.
  • Maintain professional relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other departments.

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
  • Demonstrated Sales and/or Customer Service Skills.
  • Experience with property management software, preferably Rent Manager.
  • Prior experience in leasing or property management (minimum of three years).
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with data entry, phone etiquette, and email correspondence.
  • Ability to operate within budget constraints and purchasing guidelines.
