Job Description:

The Retail Area Supervisor is responsible for supervising a specific assigned area of the store and the general operations of the store as the Manager on Duty. They lead a team to maintain a safe, secure, and friendly shopping environment, while ensuring proper merchandise presentation and cleanliness. The Area Supervisor also executes and supervises Company operational processes, leads by example, and prioritizes customer service, store brand representation, merchandising, and loss prevention. Additionally, they oversee front end operations and fitting rooms, and perform administrative duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Qualifications and Special Skills Required:

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations used in retail environments
• Ability to work evenings and weekends

Physical Requirements/ADA:

• Ability to use all store equipment, stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, stoop, push, pull, lift, and use janitorial equipment
• Ability to lift more than 25 lbs and regularly push, pull, and lift more than 20 lbs for Stockroom shifts

• Retail Associates
• Stockroom Leads (where applicable)
