Beacon Hill Financial is partnering with a non-profit organization in Washington, DC, to hire a Senior Accountant. This role reports directly to the Controller and will oversee key accounting functions including accounts payable, contract management, reconciliations, and full-cycle grants accounting. Ideal candidates should have at least one year of supervisory experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Process vendor invoices and staff reimbursements in alignment with internal controls.
Monitor contract records and reconcile data across internal systems for accuracy.
Assist program staff with tracking expenses against budgeted contract amounts.
Manage disbursements and ensure compliance with all financial policies.
Review subgrantee financials for compliance with grant requirements.
Prepare grant and accounts payable reports for internal and external use.
Maintain accurate AP records and perform daily transaction processing.
Contribute to cash flow forecasting and financial planning efforts.
