Overview Ensure that all guests are served to the Golden standard in the Restaurant. Display highest standards of hospitality and welcome are always demonstrated within all food and beverage areas. Responsibilities The exhibit is conducted in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures. Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees Performing cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor. Assist in ensuring cleanliness of the dining room during service. Observe guests and ensure their satisfaction with the food and service. Promptly respond to guest with any additional request. Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses. Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations. Ensure prompt and discrete notification to senior management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts and/or internal ethics violations. Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager. Qualifications Previous serving experience required. Excellent oral communication skills required. Positive interpersonal skills required. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required. Ability to deliver at a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable experience. Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals.
