Akkodis is seeking Software Engineer V for a Contract job with a client in Cupertino, CA (Remote) . You will be responsible for improving the quality of shipping iOS/macOS features, including triaging issues, fixing bugs, and implementing design improvements.

Rate Range: $130/hour to $140/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Software Engineer V job responsibilities include:

• Actively monitor and resolve issues related to iOS/macOS features, ensuring timely solutions to improve software quality.

• Identify, fix, and implement design enhancements to enhance the user experience and ensure the stability of iOS/macOS features.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and testers, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software updates.

• Use Xcode and Instruments tools to debug and resolve performance issues, ensuring the software runs smoothly on various devices.

• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to improve software engineering skills and contribute to team growth.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Several years of experience in software engineering, particularly in iOS/macOS development.

• Strong experience with Objective-C, Swift, UIKit, Foundation frameworks, and Xcode tools.

• Proficiency in debugging, performance optimization, and bug fixing using Instruments and XCTest.

Pay Details: $130.00 to $140.00 per hour
