Job Description
Akkodis is seeking Software Engineer V for a Contract job with a client in Cupertino, CA (Remote) . You will be responsible for improving the quality of shipping iOS/macOS features, including triaging issues, fixing bugs, and implementing design improvements.
Rate Range: $130/hour to $140/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Software Engineer V job responsibilities include:
Actively monitor and resolve issues related to iOS/macOS features, ensuring timely solutions to improve software quality.
Identify, fix, and implement design enhancements to enhance the user experience and ensure the stability of iOS/macOS features.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and testers, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software updates.
Use Xcode and Instruments tools to debug and resolve performance issues, ensuring the software runs smoothly on various devices.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to improve software engineering skills and contribute to team growth.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Several years of experience in software engineering, particularly in iOS/macOS development.
Strong experience with Objective-C, Swift, UIKit, Foundation frameworks, and Xcode tools.
Proficiency in debugging, performance optimization, and bug fixing using Instruments and XCTest.
