Job Description
JOB SUMMARY This position has responsibility for overseeing all aspects of ENVE's Sports Marketing program, including developing marketing strategies, building a collaborative relationship with athletes and partners, and managing athletes and contracts. A collaborative relationship between internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product is essential. Travel to trade shows, races, and consumer events is required. The position will require a thorough understanding of multiple cycling disciplines, including road, triathlon, gravel, and mountain biking.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Develop and manage athlete and brand partnerships, including contract management and negotiation.
- Create strategic plans for athletes in collaboration with marketing, sales, and product development teams. This includes utilizing knowledge of cycling community to inform development of new athlete and event concepts.
- Function as ENVE primary point of contact for sponsored teams and athletes, creating collaborative relationships with athletes and other partners to magnify impact in the cycling community. This includes identifying athlete or event stories and helping to create opportunities to amplify their reach.
- Lead the planning and execution of athlete and event activations as well as attend industry events, consumer events, and races to represent ENVE and create connections in the cycling community.
- Works closely with Engineering and Product teams for R&D athlete feedback
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS - Work closely with other marketing positions including research, content, social media, and design teams.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY/POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This job does have supervisory responsibilities over exempt support staff. This is a full-time position working a 9/80 schedule. Regular onsite attendance is expected and required. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (R) = Required (P) = Preferred (Equivalent combinations will be considered)(R) Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field.
(R) 5+ years of experience working for a brand, preferably in the bike or outdoor industry.
(R) Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
(R) Ability to use a computer/tablet/keyboard.
(R) Understanding and ability to leverage consumer insights and analytics.
(R) Ability to read, write, and speak English.
(R) Experience or knowledge of the cycling industry.

PHYSICAL / VISUAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to work in a typical professional office environment, using standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, copier, etc.).
Requires sitting for long periods of time at a keyboard but can also require standing, walking, using hands to feel, bend, grasp, pull, push, stoop or stretch to perform the functions of this position.
Regularly required to talk and hear.
Must be able to visually review content.
Must be able to occasionally lift product, supplies and materials weighing up to 40 lbs.
Must be able to travel by car and/or air, domestically and/or internationally, 20-50 days annually. Local, regional, national, or international assignments may be required.
