Position: Sr. API Connect (APIC) Developer with IBM Datapower Experience

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 6+ Months

About the Role:

We are seeking a Sr Developer with expertise in API Connect and IBM DataPower to join our team. This is a hands-on role focused on developing and deploying services across multiple systems. If you're an independent worker who thrives in an Agile environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.
• Design and implement gateways for API calls across various systems.
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
• Collaborate with IT specialists to deliver solutions that meet evolving business needs.
• Conduct discovery and fact-finding to understand complex business problems.
• Analyze and recommend solutions to development and production issues.
• Stay updated on technology trends and IT best practices.
• Provide guidance to less experienced team members.

Top Skills/Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with API Connect and IBM DataPower.
• Strong development skills with a focus on hands-on work.
• Ability to work independently and attend two weekly team meetings.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and logging updates in Jira.
• Ability to quickly assess the current state and lead new development efforts.
