GL Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager with a strong background in freight forwarding to join our team.

The Warehouse Operations Manager will possess knowledge of Free Trade Zone (FTZ) operations, and have a proven track record of managing logistics and transportation processes. Experience in trucking management is a plus.

Salary $70K-85K

Key Responsibilities:

• The Warehouse Operations Manager will oversee and coordinate all freight forwarding operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods.
• Manage and monitor FTZ activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and optimizing processes to maximize benefits.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• The Warehouse Operations Manager will lead, train, and mentor the operations team to achieve performance goals and maintain high service standards.
• Collaborate with customs brokers, carriers, and other logistics partners to streamline operations.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, regulatory filings, and inventory within the FTZ.
• Identify and resolve operational issues proactively, minimizing disruptions and delays.
• Analyze operational metrics and prepare performance reports for senior management.
• The Warehouse Operations Manager will support trucking operations, including route optimization, fleet management, and driver scheduling, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management. FTZ experience is required.
• Language: Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in logistics software and MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of FTZ regulations, import/export processes, and customs compliance.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a focus on operational efficiency.
• Preferred: Experience in trucking management, including fleet coordination and driver relations.
