Water Treatment Technician - Join Our Cutting-Edge Manufacturing Team

Are you passionate about maintaining and optimizing water treatment systems? Do you have a knack for ensuring critical systems run smoothly? If so, we want you to join our dynamic team as a Water Treatment Technician. This role is crucial in supporting our state-of-the-art solar panel manufacturing process by ensuring that all water-related systems are functioning efficiently and safely.

Schedule:

• Training: 2 weeks: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
• After Training: 6PM-6:30AM on a 2-2-3 rotation schedule

Pay:

$24.00/hr + $1.00 (Shift Differential once you start on Night Shift)

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor & Manage: Oversee the operation of the UPW treatment system, water supply system, wastewater treatment, and other critical utilities.
• System Efficiency: Ensure that all systems (WWT, WTP, RECYCLE, etc.) perform optimally according to established SOPs, supporting our production process.
• Proactive Maintenance: Conduct routine checks, respond to alarms, and address issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain a safe working environment.
• Inventory Management: Ensure a continuous supply of chemicals and spare parts by managing inventory levels and anticipating needs.
• Clean & Maintain: Ensure cleanliness and functionality of equipment through regular maintenance tasks like water filter replacement, CIP, and COP activities.
• Emergency Response: Act swiftly to resolve equipment malfunctions, alarms, and emergencies, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our facility.
• Documentation: Maintain thorough records of equipment status, maintenance activities, and assist in developing SOPs and LOTO procedures.

What We're Looking For:

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical Degree/Certification or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical, instrumentation, and controls within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations.

• Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle basic tools and lift 50 pounds repetitively.
  • Basic chemistry lab experience
  • Excellent time management and the ability to work in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled environment.
  • A team player with strong knowledge of safety precautions.
