General Description: Welding and erecting Precast in the Field that meets the Company's and PCI's requirements of a certified welder.
Starting wage of $33.00/hr

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operates forklifts, welders, boom lifts, and scissor lifts
- Learn to erect precast
- Perform welding tasks that meet the welding requirements established by the Company and PCI
- Ability to read basic blueprints
- Knowledge/experience working with gas/acetylene torch
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Welding certification preferred, but willing to test.
- Have adequate knowledge of the English language to be able to read blueprints, and be able to communicate with other members of the crew
- Be an authorized forklift operator or be capable of learning the skills of operating a forklift. (Wells will train)
- Be able to signal a crane or be willing to learn
- Must have interpersonal communication skills to interact with co-workers, supervisors, and managers.
- Must be able to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must be willing to travel to job sites in/out of Colorado
- General math skills and ability to read tape measure.
- Ability to work with others to get the project completed efficiently and work independently when needed.
- Understand and accept changes that are implemented to become Best in Class.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs, occasionally.
- Physically able to push, pull, lift, bend, climb, kneel, twist, squat, crawl and use hands/forearms repetitively and frequently.
- Ability to move around for up to 12 hours per day.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Moderate to high risk of exposure to unusual elements.
- Moderate to high risk of safety precautions.
- Moderate to high exposure to production environment.
Pre-employment drug testing and physical is required.
