The Expo Group is seeking an entry-level Project Coordinator to assist our project management team in delivering unique and memorable experiences for our clients. This role offers a hybrid option for candidates in one of our key markets (Dallas/Fort Worth, Las Vegas, Orlando, Chicago, Washington, D.C. area). This person works as an essential part of the Project Management team, working to ensure deadlines, budgets, and project goals are met while fostering collaboration between teams.
In this role, you will: - Assist the project management team with assignments and show preparations.
- Track and maintain show timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
- Create and manage show job books, keeping them updated with relevant checklists.
- Enter and monitor work orders, alerting the Project Manager about deadlines.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for project teams within budget constraints.
- Support client invoicing and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Handle 3-5 Tier 3 and Tier 4 shows with oversight.
- Contribute to the organization of design and photo files for projects.
What You Bring to The Expo Group: - Educational Foundation: Bachelor's degree.
- Experience: 1+ year of industry-related or general work experience; trade show experience is a plus.
- Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Key Skills: Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, deadline management, and collaboration.
