The Project Manager will lead the company’s global projects and be responsible for successfully planning, coordinating, and implementing the projects to ensure business goals and objectives are accomplished within designated timeframes and budgets. The responsibilities of the Project Manager include planning workload, delegating tasks to project team members, identifying team members’ deadlines, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. To be successful as a project manager, you should have strong leadership and strategic planning skills.

A top-notch project manager should have excellent project management, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*A successful Project Manager must spend over 50% of work time on and satisfactorily perform these general categories of duties, which require significant discretion and independent judgment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

● Work with various team leaders to create a roadmap detailing the tasks needed to be implemented on time and budget.

● Work with business stakeholders and the project team to develop project scope, goals, deliverables, plans, required resources, budget, and timeline.

● Act as the main point of intake for all assigned projects

● Maintain and communicate project plans, timeframes, budget estimates, and status reports.

● Coordinate project team members, develop schedules, and assign individual responsibilities.

● Create detailed schedules and set deadlines for various stages of a project.

● Conduct project risk assessments and effectively communicate risks to business stakeholders.

● Effectively manage the scope of projects by ensuring changes are documented and planned and any impacts to schedule and budget are noted and approved.

● Conduct and participate in “lessons learned” sessions to improve processes.

● Ensure that all projects have an efficient workflow, from intake to production.

● Monitor projects and workloads, adjusting assignments and deadlines accordingly.

● Work with freelancers and contractors and ensure they have the resources needed.

● Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Education/ Experience/ Skills:

● Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field.

● PMP or CAPM certification

● Minimum of 5 years experience in a corporate project setting.

● Ability to multitask, organize and collaborate.

● Excellent organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills.

● Strong analytical skills.

● Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint Outlook and Project Management software.

● Approachable with excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a team player while maintaining a high degree of customer service and confidentiality.

● Ability to prioritize job tasks in order of changing priority and in a deadline driven, fast paced work environment.

● High degree of integrity; able to handle confidential information with absolute discretion.

● Strong initiative (drive, sense of urgency) and flexibility.

● Oral and written skills are essential.

● Proven leadership skills required.

● Strong analytical acumen and problem-solving skills

● Superb leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.

● Strong communication/influencing skills.
