About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Roofing Estimator with a strong background in the Florida roofing industry. This role is designed for someone with experience in high-end, custom roof systems who can manage multiple projects from design through execution. You will be estimating complex residential roofs, including shingle, tile, and metal roofs, often with intricate elements like valleys, flat sections, and multi-story components.

What youll be doing:

• Perform detailed estimates for high-end residential projects involving shingle, tile, and metal roofs.
• Analyze blueprints, requirement documents, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of each project.
• Use The Edge software to maintain current market pricing for materials and estimate labor.
• Develop and maintain vendor and contractor relationships.
• Conduct hand-off meetings with project managers to ensure seamless execution.
• Present estimates to management and generate job cost reports.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Florida roofing and estimating systems.
• Expertise with The Edge estimating software.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
• High level of attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
