In June 2022, San Francisco voters passed a ballot measure that mandated the creation of a Mayor’s Office for Victims’ Rights (MOVR), also known as the Office of Victim Witness Rights, an independent city department designed to represent the interests of victims of crimes. This is an opportunity to join a small, collaborative team in the start-up phase of San Francisco’s first city department dedicated to serving victims. Under general direction, the Senior Administrative Analyst is responsible for directing and performing difficult, complex, and/or sensitive projects for departmental management, such as planning, organizing, leading and/or participating in complex, sensitive, and detailed analytical work. The Senior Administrative Analyst will report to the SHARP Director and contribute to the development and execution of the short-term goals and long-term objectives of MOVR. The project will be focused on supporting sexual assault victims. Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: Complaint Intake and Survivor Assistance Direct Support for Survivors Agency Navigation Assistance Facilitate Access to Services Court Support for Victims and Witnesses Perform Routine Investigative and Legal Research Tasks City Department Accountability and Compliance Monitoring Community and Policy Engagement How to qualify Possession of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years full-time equivalent experience performing professional-level analytical work. Substitution: Possession of a graduate degree (Master's degree or higher) may be substituted for one (1) year of required experience. What else should I know?
